:My quick tips: :1. Make sure you use thick wire (preferably 0 gauge) to avoid the risk of a fire. :2. You can ground the battery anywhere. Doesn't have to connect to the tranny like the stock one. I grounded mine to the chassis and also used a "net grounding kit" to add multiple smaller ground locations. I've been running it that way for about 4 years problem free.
Thanks for chiming in Im running 1 awe so I think that may be bigger than 0 gauge. I still dont mind running one up to the tranny and then to engine and the off to chassy. I will also run one from batt to the strut tower for a quick ground to! Please keep info coming!
